Valkyrie Undercorset

A really nice piece that truly completes my complete Valkyrie outfit! This is the corset with bra that fits under the main Valkyrie corset. Quality construction! You can see part of this on Lucy's outfit in the scene where she as a Valkyrie, raises her sword to kill Grinhilda but then changes her mind. Most likely these were worn by ALL the Valkyries though, so no way to prove it was Lucy's. I have this thanks to the generosity and kindness of my friend Cheri. Thanks for letting it "come home!"

Varia Flashback Wardrobe Hanger

This is the wardrobe hanger for the Varia Flashback double, who appeared as young Varia in the flashback portion of Path of Vengeance. The tags are also kind of neat, as they list the items that could be expected to be found on the hanger and in the hanger bag pockets. The "XMU" on the tag stands for "Xena Main Unit." The "X15" means "Xena, Episode 15."...which is POV for Season 6.

Varia Stunt Double Wardrobe Hanger

This is the wardrobe hanger that goes with the Varia stunt double costume. Wardrobe hangers are very rare to find as they were used to hang the actor's outfit and have pockets for storing the accessories, such as jewelry or smaller costume pieces, in them. Most of the hangers were sold at Turner Auctions with the outfits, or as parts of lots of various wardrobe pieces.

Identifying Props

Prop collecting, like most hobbies, is a lot of fun. Sharing the hobby with other prop collecting enthusiasts really enhances the experience, and one of those interesting tasks (after buying a new prop!) is to find it in an episode. Lately I have to give a shout out to my friend Cheri, who has been a prop-finding goddess! Cheri has located and identified several props for me and my fellow collectors through the Xena Prop House. Valkyrie Helmet

The final piece to the Valkyrie wardrobe! This helmet is made of leather and plastic/resin for the wings. Wardrobe tape says "Xena." You can also see the complete valkyrie costume over in the completed costumes section.

Valkyrie Gauntlets

Another piece of the Valkyrie puzzle; here are a pair of lovely gauntlets. They are a stretchy mesh material with hard resiny/plastic "leaves" attached.

Valkyrie Boots-Grinhilda's Stuntie

I am getting very close to finally having a COMPLETE Valkyrie rider costume to go with my complete Valkyrie horse costume. Here is another piece of the puzzle, a pair of Valkyrie boots. These are marked "Grin Stunt" in each boot.

Valkyrie Skirt

Here is another piece of the puzzle I like to call "trying to get a complete Valkyrie wardrobe" LOL! This is the skirt. These skirts were made of a medium weight shimmery, slightly silky material with tiny resin pieces on the ends, probably for effect and to keep the material from unraveling. Pictured here on my mannequin torso with the elaborately made Valkyrie corset. Also pictured are the wardrobe hangers for the Grinhilda riding and stunt doubles; a great way to make a costume truly complete.

Xena Archangel Costume

Easily the most beautiful item in my collection, and a testament to the high quality costumes created by the RenPic wardrobe dept. I am very happy to report this newest member of the wardrobe family, Xena's Archangel Costume. The pictures do not do this costume justice; it is very heavy and very well constructed. This consists of a beautiful green shimmery skirt, armor piece that is front and back, and an underlying tunic-like piece to fit under the armor. Elaborate decorations and rivets. The shoulder guards are sewn onto the armor and are also very detailed. Breathtaking costume!

Valkyrie Corset

Here is a beautifully constructed corset worn by Odin's Valkyrie in the Xena Season Six trilogy including the episode "Return of the Valkyrie." There were a handful of Valkyrie, each wearing a corset, helmet, skirt, boots, gauntlets, etc. I only have the corset, but would love to find the other pieces to form a complete outfit. The wardrobe dept. did a great job in making these, note the detail and the lacing on the back. This was made of many different types of fabric and a plasticy resin type of material on the armor. Lovely!
